"Snow on the double blacks on the south side was a bit thin when we were there, but they are some of the most challenging and most fun runs in the Midwest. Not Coming back, and would not recommend it. We really wanted to like this place or even the mountain but it's just not good for too many reason. We paid for a very expensive trip and checked out early that's how bad it was. Food we paid for was fine but pricy for what it was. Other people there said they had water leaks in their rooms and they were dirty. Their lifts don't have safety rails and many weren't even running. There are only a few porta pots on the hill and they are overflowing and gross. It cleaning it up in there other than to wipe food off the counter with their hand. The breakfast had expired food and nothing warm to eat and they are The smell fills the whole building and the hot tub was green from lack of chemicals. Not being able to ski, we hoped to take kids to the pool. Even the bunny Hill here is nothing more than a very steep bowl with a exhausting tow rope that wasn't running anyway. They wouldn't refund lift tickets purchased online after us being miss informed. Several in group could not use lift tickets because there were no green runs and everything was ice. ![]() Skied the whole thing and didn't find anything safe for my family. Talked to staff before we came and while we were there to get help finding safe runs but they were not knowledgeable about the hill. They just got inches of snow but it was all ice and they didn't run groomers. Lifts and hills are confusing, with poor signs and green rates runs are either totally flat and you need to skate a ton or they are completely not green at all (more like normal blue or even steeper than what you'd expect for greens. Resort says it has many green runs that are kid friendly. I sincerely hope this place gets it together and makes a solid go of it. Skiing is better than average, but expensive for what they have to offer.Įdit: it rained last night and there is a leak in the roof into our room. So far the only high point of the hotel is the toilet has a slow close cover so it won't bang my head after puking my guts out after drinking enough to get past the issues so far. I found a spot to park, not on the road, and was accosted by 2 different employees stating there is no parking there and I should park on the snowbound road instead.
